It all began with a very special commission: a soup tureen inspired by the Famille Rose porcelain of the East India Company. What seemed like a one-off project turned into the start of a creative adventure that today is Cris & ME.

Cristina, Marta and Isabel make up the Cris & ME team. Cristina has spent more than thirty years teaching porcelain painting, and it was in her studio that Marta and Isabel discovered porcelain painting and learned the craft.

Although each has her own sensibility, they share the same way of understanding their work: a love of things done well, care for the small details and the pleasure of creating with their own hands.

From that union come their tableware collections, which combine respect for traditional techniques with a fresh, personal eye. They have recovered classic motifs, reinterpreted them and created pieces that can be part of everyday life.

Their experience is also behind the porcelain painting supplies they offer.

After more than thirty years of teaching, Cristina knows first-hand how important it is to work with good materials. Her experience, both in the studio and with her students, has been key to developing their range of pigments and choosing the brushes and tools they offer.

They know that choosing the right materials is essential when painting, so they look after the materials chosen for Cris & ME with the same care they give their tableware.

They want to share with everyone who enjoys porcelain painting the materials they use and choose for their own work, whether they are just starting out or have been painting for years.

Because Cris & ME was born from their passion for creating, but also from the wish to share everything they have learned along the way.
